Abstrak

Karies gigi merupakan masalah kesehatan yang prevalen pada anak sekolah dasar, seringkali disebabkan oleh kurangnya edukasi dan akses skrining. Aplikasi berbasis web "Dental Caries Care" dikembangkan sebagai solusi inovatif yang berfungsi ganda: sebagai media edukasi interaktif dan alat skrining mandiri untuk deteksi dini gigi berlubang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan aplikasi tersebut. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji kelayakan melibatkan validasi oleh 2 ahli, yaitu ahli media (91%) dan ahli kesehatan gigi (93%), dengan rata-rata persentase 92% (kategori "Sangat Layak"). Uji reliabilitas antar ahli menunjukkan kesepakatan sempurna (Koefisien Kappa = 1,00). Selanjutnya, uji coba skala terbatas melibatkan 30 responden (anak dan orang tua) yang memberikan nilai rata rata 90% (Sangat Layak). Analisis detail pada semua dimensi aplikasi dan aspek usability mengkonfirmasi kelayakan tinggi: Kegunaan (Usefulness) 90%, Kemudahan Penggunaan (Ease of Use) 90%, Kemudahan Belajar (Ease of Learning) 90%, dan Kepuasan Pengguna (User Satisfaction) 92%. Dengan demikian, bahwa aplikasi "Dental Caries Care" dinyatakan valid, reliabel, dan sangat layak digunakan. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, direncanakan konversi aplikasi ke versi mobile (Android/iOS) serta pengayaan konten edukasi dengan integrasi unsur permainan (gamification).

Dental caries is a prevalent health issue among elementary school children, often stemming from a lack of education and screening access. The web-based application "Dental Caries Care" was developed as an innovative dual-purpose solution: an interactive educational medium and a self-screening tool for the early detection of cavities. This study aimed to develop and test the feasibility of this application. Development followed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The feasibility test involved validation by two experts—a media expert (91%) and a dental health expert (93%)—yielding an average score of 92% (categorized as "Highly Feasible"). Inter-rater reliability between the experts showed perfect agreement (Cohen's Kappa coefficient = 1.00). Furthermore, a limited-scale trial involving 30 respondents (children and parents) resulted in an average score of 90% (Highly Feasible). A detailed analysis of all application dimensions and usability aspects confirmed high feasibility: Usefulness (90%), Ease of Use (90%), Ease of Learning (90%), and User Satisfaction (92%). Therefore, the "Dental Caries Care" application is deemed valid, reliable, and highly feasible for use. For further development, plans include converting the application into a mobile version (Android/iOS) and enriching the educational content with integrated game-like elements (gamification).
