PARTISIPASI MAHASISWA DENGAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PENAMBAHAN DESAIN INTERIOR MASJID AT-TAUFIQ DI DESA CISALAK KECAMATAN CIBEBER KABUPATEN CIANJUR

Abstrak

Masjid merupakan rumah Allah SWT yang dibangun sebagai sarana bagi umat Islam untuk menyembah dan mengingat Allah SWT dengan baik. Selain itu, di zaman Rasulullah dan sahabat masjid juga berfungsi sebagai tempat bermusyawarah, mencari solusi dan sebagainya. (Al-Qaradhawi, 2000). Meskipun masjid sudah tersebar, minat jamaah untuk beribadah ke masjid berkurang. Dengan alasan kurangnya kenyamanan dan fasilitas yang memadai di masjid, revitalisasi menjadi sangat penting untuk menghidupkan kembali masjid dan menarik minat jamaah untuk lebih semangat beribadah. Masjid dengan desain interior yang sesuai dapat menciptakan suasana tenang, meningkatkam kekhusukkan serta meningkatkan kualitas ibadah para jamaah. Sehingga para jamaah lebih betah berlama-lama di masjid. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penambahan desain interior terhadap kenyamanan jamaah seperti kekhusukan, ketenangan, kedamaian, dan spiritualitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah observasi partisipan, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Menurut temuan penelitian, desain interior didasarkan pada prinsip estetika Islam seperti: penggunaan warna-warna lembut, hiasan kaligrafi dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kenyamanan para jamaah.

The mosque is the house of Allah SWT which was built as a means for Muslims to worship and remember Allah SWT properly. In addition, in the days of the Prophet and his companions the mosque also functioned as a place to deliberate, find solutions and so on. (Al-Qaradhawi, 2000). Although mosques have spread, the interest of worshipers to worship at the mosque is reduced. Due to the lack of comfort and adequate facilities in the mosque, revitalisation becomes very important to revive the mosque and attract worshipers to be more enthusiastic about worship. Mosques with appropriate interior design can create a calm atmosphere, increase solemnity and improve the quality of worship of the congregation. So that the worshipers feel more at home in the mosque. The purpose of this study was to determine the addition of interior design to the comfort of worshipers such as solemnity, calmness, peace, and spirituality. The research methods used are participant observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. According to the research findings, the interior design is based on Islamic aesthetic principles such as: the use of soft colours, calligraphy decoration can have a positive impact on the comfort of the worshipers.
