THE IMPORTANCE OF PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR STUDENTS

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the fact that many students are not yet aware of the benefits of public speaking skills. They do not understand and understand that public speaking is one of the skills that must be possessed in communicating in life. The better you speak, the more people will understand what you say. The purpose of this research is to analyze the benefits of public speaking to students, so that with this article students can become aware and start learning and practicing public speaking. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was collected using the technique of looking for as many references as possible to support the results of this research. The research results show that public speaking has great benefits for students and provides great opportunities for students to use it at important events when their public speaking technique is good. The research results also show that by frequently doing public speaking, a student can broaden his insight when he examines the content of what he is going to convey so that the more often he speaks in public, the more he will gain new knowledge.
