PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN DAN PELATIHAN TERHADAP KINERJA PETUGAS AVIATION SECURITY (AVSEC) BANDAR UDARA KOMODO LABUAN BAJO

Abstrak

Petugas aviation security (Avsec) berperan penting khususnya dalam menjaga keamanan di bandara. Kinerja petugas avsec nantinya akan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan di bandar udara. Adanya permasalahan yang muncul seperti petugas avsec yang memperbolehkan penumpang memasuki ruang tunggu tanpa melewati pintu pemeriksaan menjadikan hal yang harus diperhatikan oleh sebuah bandar udara. Oleh karena itu perlunya pendidikan dan pelatihan agar petugas avsec lebih sigap dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis apakah pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja petugas avsec dan seberapa besar pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja petugas avsec di Bandar Udara Komodo Labuan Bajo. Penelitian ini didesain dengan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 1 Februari 2024 sampai 31 Maret 2024 di Bandar Udara Komodo Labuan Bajo. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan berupa uji instrumen dan uji hipotesis.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa t hitung 0,976 < t tabel 2,037 artinya H1 ditolak berarti variabel pendidikan (X1) tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja petugas (Y). Kemudian nilai t hitung 6,275 > t tabel 2,307 dimana H2 diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh antara variabel pelatihan (X2) terhadap variabel kinerja petugas (Y). Berdasarkan uji simultan X1 dan X2 berpengaruh secara bersamaan terhadap Y. Pengaruh variabel pendidikan (X1) dan pelatihan (X2) terhadap kinerja petugas (Y) sebesar 85,4%.

Aviation security officers (Avsec) have an important role, especially in maintaining security at airports. The performance of Avsec officers will later influence developments at the airport. Problems that arise, such as Avsec officers allowing passengers to enter the waiting room without going through the inspection gate, are something that an airport must be wary of. Therefore, education and training are needed so that Avsec officers are more alert in their work. This research aims to find out and analyze whether education and training have an effect on the performance of avsec officers and how much influence education and training has on the performance of avsec officers at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport.

This research was designed using quantitative methods. This research was conducted from 1 February 2024 to 31 March 2024 at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport. The sample used was 35 people. Data collection techniques in this research took the form of questionnaires and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used are instrument testing and hypothesis testing.
