PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING COMBINED WITH THE LYRICS OF SONG ON TIKTOK TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI LINGKARAN

Abstrak

Kurangnya ketertarikan siswa terhadap matematika menjadi penyebab turunnya hasil belajar siswa, khususnya di kelas VIII SMP Hidayatul Ulum. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, perlu diberikan perlakuan khusus sehingga tercipta pembelajaran yang melibatkan keaktifan, kreativitas, kecakapan, hasil belajar dan kemampuan berfikir kreatif sesuai dengan sistem pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning yang dikombinasikan dengan lirik lagu matematika yang diunggah di akun media sosial tiktok yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pembelajaran discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kesenangan siswa dengan meningkatkan kegembiraan dalam mencari informasi yang tentunya berkaitan dengan materi, menjadikan siswa mandiri dalam pembelajaran, serta melibatkan pikiran dan motivasi siswa selama proses belajar di kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuanntitatif dimana Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning combined with the lyrics of song on tiktok yaitu nilai pretest sebesar 22, 7 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 93,9. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery learning combined with the lyrics of song on tiktok terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi lingkaran. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,92 yang artinya model pembelajaran ini memiliki efektifitas yang tinggi.

Students' lack of interest in mathematics is the cause of the decline in student learning outcomes, especially in class VIII of Hidayatul Ulum Middle School. To overcome this, special treatment needs to be given so that learning can be created that involves activeness, creativity, skills, learning outcomes and the ability to think creatively in accordance with the national education system. This research uses a discovery learning model combined with mathematics song lyrics uploaded to the TikTok social media account which is expected to improve student learning outcomes. Discovery learning can increase student enjoyment by increasing excitement in searching for information which is of course related to the material, making students independent in learning, and involving students' thoughts and motivation during the learning process in class. This research is quantitative research where the instruments used are pretest and posttest questions. The research results show that the average score using the Discovery learning model combined with the lyrics of song on TikTok is a pretest score of 22.7 and an average posttest score of 93.9. Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was concluded that there was an influence of the application of the Discovery learning combined with the lyrics of song on TikTok learning model on understanding mathematical concepts in circle material. The N-Gain value is 0.92, which means this learning model has high effectiveness.
