This research aims to optimize blockchain technology as a solution to enhance security in banking transactions through a meta-analysis approach. Meta-analysis method is employed to synthesize findings from five international journals and ten national journals selected based on strict inclusion criteria. These studies provide empirical data on the effectiveness of blockchain implementation in enhancing security in banking transactions. The results of the meta-analysis indicate that blockchain technology has significant potential in reducing fraud risk, ensuring data integrity, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing transparency in the banking industry. These findings are supported by empirical evidence from various banking contexts, demonstrating consistency in the effectiveness of blockchain as a security solution. However, challenges such as implementation costs and complexity, as well as scalability issues, remain factors that need to be addressed in the adoption of blockchain in the banking sector. In conclusion, this research underscores the significant potential of blockchain technology in bringing about positive transformation in the security and efficiency of banking transactions, although there are still obstacles to overcome to optimize its implementation.
