PETA ASPIRASI PESERTA DIDIK SMA DALAM MELANJUTKAN STUDI PADA KONTEKS TRANSFORMASI KEBIJAKAN SELEKSI NASIONAL PENERIMAAN MAHASISWA BARU (SNPMB)

Abstrak

Sistem pendidikan saat ini telah mengalami transformasi seiring tuntutan peradabaan, salah satunya kebijakan SNPMB. Tujuan riset ini untuk memetakan aspirasi peserta didik SMA dalam melanjutkan studi pada konteks transformasi SNPMB dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sebagai dasar pertimbangan evidence based policy. Riset ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subyek riset ini adalah peserta didik kelas 12 SMA Negeri 1 Lendah dan SMA IT Bina Umat. Metode pengumpulan data riset melalui observasi (participatory), wawancara (in-depth interview), dan dokumentasi. Analisis data riset diantaranya: (a) Bracketing; (b) Intuiting; (c) Analyzing; (d) Describing; dan (e) Interpretation. Diperoleh hasil temuan riset berupa: (1) Peta aspirasi peserta didik sesuai hierarki kebijakan pendidikan; (2) Implikasi aspirasi peserta didik pada konteks transformasi kebijakan SNPMB; dan (3) Rekomendasi kebijakan SNPMB di masa yang akan mendatang. Kesimpulan dari riset ini bahwa aspirasi peserta didik bersifat konstruktif dan langkah-langkah evaluasi SNPMB senantiasa harus memperhatikan: (a) Efektivitas, (b) Ketepatan, dan (c) Responsivitas.

The current education system has undergone a transformation in line with the demands of civilization, one of which is the SNPMB policy. The aim of this research is to map the aspirations of high school students in continuing their studies in the context of SNPMB transformation and identify influencing factors as a basis for considering evidence-based policy. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this research were grade 12 students at SMA Negeri 1 Lendah and SMA IT Bina Umat. Research data collection methods are through observation (participatory), interviews (in-depth interviews), and documentation. Research data analysis includes: (a) Bracketing; (b) Intuition; (c) Analyzing; (d) Describing; and (e) Interpretation. Research findings were obtained in the form of: (1) Map of student aspirations according to the education policy hierarchy; (2) Implications of student aspirations in the context of SNPMB policy transformation; and (3) SNPMB policy recommendations in the future. The conclusion from this research is that students' aspirations are constructive and SNPMB evaluation steps must always pay attention to: (a) Effectiveness, (b) Accuracy, and (c) Responsiveness.
