HAMBATAN PELAKSANAAN REKAM MEDIS ELEKTRONIK DARI PERSPEKTIF PEREKAM MEDIS KODER RAWAT INAP DENGAN METODE PIECES DI RSUD MAJALAYA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hambatan penerapan RME menggunakan metode PIECES (performance, information, economic, control, efficiency, service), karena masih ada masalah yang menghambat petugas koder rawat inap sehingga kurang puas terhadap RME saat diterapkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dengan salah satu  koder rawat inap yang berada di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Majalaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan aspek performance RME sudah menunjukkan kinerja yang cukup baik. Berdasarkan aspek information, RME memberikan informasi sistem yang kurang akurat, terutama tentang kebutuhan untuk menggunakan kode ICD-10 versi 2010, namun sistem masih menggunakan ICD-10 versi 2005. Berdasarkan aspek economic, kurangnya pelatihan untuk pengguna dan tidak adanya integrasi antara sistem. Berdasarkan aspek control, RME memberikan pengguna username dan kata sandi untuk mengakses sistem sehingg keamanan sistem terjaga. Berdasarkan aspek efficiency, RME dapat dengan mudah dipelajari dan dioperasikan. Berdasarkan aspek service, RME memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna RME. Kesimpulan bahwa RME pada bagian koder rawat inap sudah cukup baik dari segi Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency dan Service tetapi masih ada beberapa hambatan yang perlu diatasi.

This study aims to evaluate the obstacles to the implementation of RME using the PIECES (performance, information, economic, control, efficiency, service) method, because there are still problems that hinder inpatient coders so that they are not satisfied with RME when applied. This type of research is qualitative research, using observation and interviews with one of the inpatient coders at the Majalaya Regional General Hospital. The results of the study show that based on the performance aspect, RME has shown quite good performance. Based on the information aspect, RME provides less accurate system information, especially about the need to use the 2010 version of the ICD-10 code, but the system still uses the 2005 version of ICD-10. Based on the economic aspect, the lack of training for users and the absence of integration between systems. Based on the control aspect, RME gives users a username and password to access the system so that system security is maintained. Based on the efficiency aspect, RME can be easily learned and operated. Based on the service aspect, RME provides convenience for RME users. The conclusion that RME in the inpatient code section is quite good in terms of Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Service but there are still several obstacles that need to be overcome.
