PERBANDINGAN NILAI PENYUSUTAN PADA DUA KENDARAAN SUV

Abstrak

Penyusutan nilai aset tetap melibatkan proses alokasi biaya aset selama masa kegunaannya yang bertujuan untuk mencerminkan nilai ekonomis yang sebenarnya. Dalam konteks kendaraan, penyusutan ini penting untuk memahami nilai jual kembali serta perencanaan keuangan pemilik kendaraan. Penelitian ini menganalisis penyusutan nilai aset tetap pada dua kendaraan SUV, yaitu Mobil tipe 1 dan Mobil tipe 2 varian tertinggi tahun 2018. Penyusutan nilai aset tetap dihitung menggunakan metode garis lurus berdasarkan standar akuntansi yang berlaku. Data yang digunakan meliputi harga perolehan kendaraan, estimasi umur manfaat, serta nilai sisa kendaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mobil tipe 2 mengalami penyusutan nilai yang lebih cepat dibandingkan Mobil tipe 1. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi perbedaan ini adalah harga awal kendaraan, estimasi umur manfaat, serta kondisi pasar yang berdampak pada nilai jual kembali. Mobil tipe 1 mengalami depresiasi yang lebih lambat, menjadikannya pilihan yang lebih baik bagi pemilik yang ingin mempertahankan nilai kendaraan dalam jangka panjang. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi calon pembeli dalam memilih kendaraan.

Depreciation of fixed assets is the process of allocating the cost of an asset over its useful life to reflect its true economic value. In the context of vehicles, depreciation is important to understand the resale value and financial planning of vehicle owners. This study analyses the depreciation of fixed asset values on two SUV vehicles, namely car type 1 and car type 2, the highest type in 2018. Depreciation of fixed asset values is calculated using the straight-line method based on applicable accounting standards. The data used includes vehicle acquisition price, estimated useful life, and residual value of the vehicle. The results showed that car type 2 experienced faster depreciation than car type 1. The main factors affecting this difference are the initial price of the vehicle, estimated useful life, and market conditions that have an impact on resale value. The car type 1 experiences slower depreciation, making it a better choice for owners who want to maintain the value of the vehicle in the long run. The results of this study provide insight for potential buyers in choosing a vehicle.
