PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH SMA NEGERI 16 SAMARINDA

Abstrak

Dalam konteks kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, Kecerdasan Intelektual sering kali dianggap sebagai faktor utama yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kepemimpinan. Namun, selain dari pada itu, terdapat pula elemen-elemen lain yang juga berperan penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan kepemimpinan, yaitu adalah Kecerdasan Emosional dan Spiritual. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Spiritual terhadap Efektivitas Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 16 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan mengambil 100 sampel yang terdiri dari guru, staff, dan siswa di SMA Negeri 16 Samarinda, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebagai pengambilan data sampel. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) dengan bantuan program SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya Kecerdasan Emosional dan Spiritual berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan dalam bidang literatur dan ilmu pengetahuan, serta sebagai sumber informasi bagi para pemimpin, tidak hanya kepala sekolah, bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional dan Spiritual merupakan salah satu elemen penting yang juga menjadi dasar utama dalam melaksanakan kepemimpinan.

In the context of principal leadership, Intellectual Intelligence is often seen as the main factor influencing leadership effectiveness. However, apart from that, there are also other elements that play an important role in supporting leadership success, namely Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of Emotional and Spiritual intelligence on the Effectiveness of Principal Leadership of SMA Negeri 16 Samarinda. This type of research is quantitative by taking 100 samples consisting of teachers, staff, and students at SMA Negeri 16 Samarinda, using purposive sampling techniques as sample data collection. The data analysis technique in this study used the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) technique with the help of the SmartPLS version 4.0 program. The results of this study indicate that Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence have a significant positive effect on the Leadership Effectiveness of Principals. This research contributes to the development in the field of literature and science, as well as a source of information for leaders, not only principals, that Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence is an important element that is also the main basis for implementing leadership.
