IMPLEMENTASI LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN INKLUSI DI SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA: STUDI OBSERVASI KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN ABK DI SLB PRAYUWANA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan inklusi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) di SLB Prayuwana. Fokus penelitian meliputi adaptasi kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran, pemanfaatan media, serta sistem penilaian yang diterapkan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas, serta lingkungan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SLB Prayuwana menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka yang dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik individual peserta didik. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara individual dengan pendekatan fleksibel yang menyesuaikan kemampuan dan kondisi emosional siswa. Guru memanfaatkan media pembelajaran konkret dan interaktif, seperti smart TV, permainan edukatif, bahan bekas, dan clay untuk meningkatkan fokus serta keterlibatan siswa. Sistem penilaian dilakukan secara autentik berbasis proses dan praktik, sehingga lebih menekankan perkembangan kemampuan fungsional peserta didik. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi dukungan kepala sekolah, kolaborasi antar guru, dan keterlibatan orang tua, sedangkan keterbatasan jumlah tenaga pendidik menjadi hambatan yang masih dapat diatasi. Secara keseluruhan, pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi di SLB Prayuwana berjalan adaptif dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan individual ABK.
This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education in learning activities for children with special needs (CSN) at SLB Prayuwana. The focus of the study includes curriculum adaptation, learning strategies, the use of instructional media, and the assessment system applied. The research employed a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The research subjects included the school principal, classroom teachers, and the learning environment. The results show that SLB Prayuwana implements the Merdeka Curriculum, which is modified according to the individual needs and characteristics of students. Learning is conducted individually using a flexible approach that adjusts to students’ abilities and emotional conditions. Teachers utilize concrete and interactive learning media, such as smart TVs, educational games, recycled materials, and clay to enhance students’ focus and engagement. The assessment system is conducted authentically based on process and practice, emphasizing the development of students’ functional skills. Key supporting factors include the support of the principal, collaboration among teachers, and parental involvement, while the limited number of teaching staff remains a manageable challenge. Overall, the implementation of inclusive education at SLB Prayuwana is adaptive and oriented toward the individual needs of children with special needs.
