Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), Stunting, Nutrition

Abstrak

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a series of actions and habits carried out by individuals, families, and communities to maintain the cleanliness and health of the environment and body, which plays an important role in preventing diseases, including stunting. Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in toddlers due to malnutrition, which can have an impact on the child's physical and cognitive development. This study aims to evaluate the effect of PHBS on efforts to prevent stunting in the community. The method used is secondary data analysis from various studies and health reports related to PHBS and stunting. The results of the study showed that PHBS, which includes consuming nutritious food, providing exclusive breastfeeding, and good environmental sanitation, has a significant contribution to preventing stunting. Community-based education and interventions in promoting PHBS are considered effective in increasing public awareness and behavior for healthy living. Thus, consistent implementation of PHBS is one of the main strategies in efforts to eradicate stunting and improve the quality of life of future generations.
