TEKNOLOGI BERSIH DAN MINIMASI LIMBAH PADA INDUSTRI TAHU

Abstrak

Industri tahu merupakan salah satu sektor UMKM yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam pengelolaan limbah padat dan cair. Apabila limbah tidak ditangani dengan baik, maka dapat berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teknologi bersih dan upaya minimasi limbah pada industri tahu di Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui metode observasi langsung, wawancara, serta studi literatur, penelitian ini menawarkan beberapa solusi teknologi bersih. Teknologi bersih yang ditawarkan meliputi pemanfaatan kembali air rendaman, peningkatan efisiensi alat produksi, serta pengolahan limbah padat menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi seperti pupuk kompos, pupuk organik cair, dan berbagai olahan dari ampas tahu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi bersih mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, mengurangi dampak pencemaran, dan menambah nilai ekonomi.

The tofu industry is part of the MSME sector that faces various challenges, especially in solid and liquid waste managemenst. If waste is not handled properly, it can potentially pollute the environment. This study aims to analyze the application of clean technology and waste minimization efforts in the tofu industry in Pontianak. The research method used through direct observation methods, interviews, and literature studies this research offers several clean technology solutions. The clean technologies offered include reusing soybean soak water, increasing the efficiency of production equipment, and processing solid waste into products of economic value such as compost, liquid organic fertilizer, and various processed tofu residues. The results show that clean technology is able to improve the efficiency of the production process, reduce the impact of pollution, and add economic value.
