PENGARUH METODE EKSPERIMEN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA MATERI PERISTIWA ALAM DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh dari metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sememi I Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan bentuk true experiment design dengan jenis control group pretest-posstest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistic menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar post-test siswa sebesar 73,22. Hasil pengujian hipotesis di peroleh 4,8138 (t_hitung>t_tabel) sehingga dinyatakan diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size diperoleh 1,5379 (tinggi). Hal ini berarti metode pembelajaran eksperimen memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sememi I Surabaya.

This research aims to analyze how much influence the experimental method has on the natural science learning outcomes of class IV students at the Sememi I State Elementary School in Surabaya. The research method used is an experimental method, in the form of a true experiment design with a control group pretes-posttest design. The sample of this research was 25 students. Based on the results of statiscal calculations, it shows that the average student post-test learning outcome is 73,22. The results of hypothesis testing were 4.8138 (t_- count>t_- table) so it was declared accepted. From the calculation of the effect size, it is obtained 1.5379 (high). This means that the experimental learning method has a high influence on student learning outcomes in class IV Sememi I Surabaya State Elementary School.
