Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki kemampuan beradaptasi dan berkarya secara kreatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan “Kelas Creative Editing Video CapCut” bagi siswa kelas IX E SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital dan kreativitas siswa dalam mengedit video menggunakan aplikasi CapCut. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung dengan tahapan pre-test dan post-test sebagai alat evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan teknis, dan kepercayaan diri siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Siswa mampu memahami berbagai fitur CapCut seperti penambahan efek, transisi, dan pengaturan audio, serta dapat menghasilkan karya video yang menarik dan orisinal. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga menumbuhkan motivasi dan kesadaran siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara positif dan kreatif. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis teknologi digital seperti CapCut efektif dalam mengembangkan potensi, kreativitas, dan literasi digital siswa di era modern.
The development of digital technology requires the younger generation to have the ability to adapt and work creatively. Based on this, a community service activity was carried out in the form of a “CapCut Creative Video Editing Class” training for ninth grade E students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan. This activity aimed to improve students' digital literacy and creativity in editing videos using the CapCut application. The implementation methods included lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice with pre-tests and post-tests as evaluation tools. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' knowledge, technical skills, and confidence after participating in the training. Students were able to understand various CapCut features such as adding effects, transitions, and audio settings, and were able to produce interesting and original video works. In addition, this training also fostered students' motivation and awareness in utilizing technology positively and creatively. Overall, this activity proved that digital technology-based training such as CapCut is effective in developing students' potential, creativity, and digital literacy in the modern era.
