SELF CONCEPT WANITA YANG BEKERJA SEBAGAI LADY COMPANION(LC) DI SARIREJO (SEMBIR) SALATIGA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui self concept wanita yang bekerja sebagai pemandu karaoke (LC) lady companion. latar belakang peneliti yaitu ingin mengangkat fenomena yang yang terjadi dengan berbagai pengamatan dan analisis beberapa aspek dan faktor, self concept seorang wanita yang memilih pekerjaan sebagai (LC) lady companion. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi, penelitian dilakukan di kawasan wisata karaoke Sarirejo (Sembir) di kota Salatiga dan subjek dari penelitian ini adalah pemandu karaoke yang berusia 18-30 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukan ketiga subjek memandang self concept yang cenderung positif,  self concept yang  positif pada ketiga subjek memiliki tingkat kedewasaan yang cukup baik sehingga sudah menerima keadaan ekonomi keluarganya sehingga konsep diri pada subjek memiliki tujuan untuk keberlangsungan  kehidupannya.  

This research aims to explore the self-concept of women working as karaoke guides (LC) or lady companions. The background of the researcher is to address the phenomenon that occurs through various observations and analyses of several aspects and factors related to the self-concept of women who choose to work as lady companions. The qualitative phenomenological method was employed in this study, conducted in the karaoke tourism area of Sarirejo (Sembir) in the city of Salatiga. The subjects of this research were karaoke guides aged 18-30 years. The results of the study indicate that all three subjects perceive a self-concept that tends to be positive. The positive self-concept in these subjects reflects a relatively high level of maturity, as they have accepted the economic situation of their families. Consequently, the self-concept of the subjects is oriented towards the sustainability of their lives.
