This study aims to examine the influence of non-financial compensation on teacher performance at SMP Muhammadiyah 60. The introduction of this research highlights the importance of non-financial compensation, such as recognition, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment, in enhancing teachers' motivation and effectiveness. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach, where data is collected through literature review from various relevant sources. This study finds that non-financial compensation plays a significant role in improving teacher performance by enhancing job satisfaction, motivation, and commitment to teaching tasks. Teachers who feel valued and supported tend to demonstrate better performance, contributing to the improvement of educational quality at the school. These findings underscore the importance of school management in designing holistic strategies that integrate various forms of non-financial compensation to create an optimal work environment for teachers.
