Abstrak

Artikel ini membahas tentang Kemunduran peradaban Islam merupakan fenomena kompleks yang terjadi setelah periode keemasan yang berlangsung selama beberapa abad. Pasca abad pertengahan, dunia Islam mengalami stagnasi intelektual, kemerosotan ekonomi, dan disintegrasi politik yang signifikan. Faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kemunduran ini meliputi invasi mongol, perpecahan internal dalam struktur kekhalifahan, kemunduran sistem pendidikan, melemahnya inovasi ilmiah dan teknologi, serta tekanan dari kekuatan kolonial Eropa.Masa keemasan Islam yang sebelumnya ditandai dengan kemajuan luar biasa di bidang sains, matematika, kedokteran, dan filsafat, perlahan mengalami penurunan akibat faktor internal dan eksternal. Hilangnya semangat penelitian, menurunnya dukungan terhadap lembaga-lembaga keilmuan, dan berkembangnya pemikiran yang lebih konservatif telah mempercepat proses kemunduran peradaban Islam.

This article discusses the decline of Islamic civilization, a complex phenomenon that occurred after a golden age that lasted several centuries. After the Middle Ages, the Islamic world experienced intellectual stagnation, economic decline, and significant political disintegration. Factors that contributed to this formation include the Mongol invasion, internal divisions within the structure of the caliphate, the dissolution of the educational system, the weakening of scientific and technological innovation, as well as pressure from European colonial powers. The previous golden age of Islam was marked by extraordinary progress in the fields of science and mathematics. , medicine, and philosophy, slowly declined due to internal and external factors. The loss of the spirit of research, decreased support for scientific institutions, and the development of more conservative thinking have accelerated the process of Islamic civilization.
