Abstrak

Nurul Aulia Rahmah, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mulawarman. Peran Guru PPKn Menumbuhkan Kepedulian Siswa Dalam Kasus Kekerasan Gender Di Smp Negeri 6 Samarinda. Di bawah bimbingan Ibu Dra. Hj. Marwiah., M.Pd selaku pembimbing. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui peran guru PPKn sebagai pendidik dan sebagai pembimbing  menumbuhkan kepedulian siswa dalam kasus kekerasan gender di SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda pada bulan Desember 2024-Maret 2025. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Guru PPKn, dan siswa-siswi kelas VII dan VIII dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menyimpulkan data.penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Guru PPKn secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai kekerasan gender, termasuk definisi dan kemampuan mengidentifikasi berbagai bentuk kekerasan gender. Kolaborasi efektif antara guru dengan lembaga eksternal (Kejaksaan Negeri Samarinda, Police Goes to School, DP2PA, Bhabinkamtibmas) turut meningkatkan kepedulian sosial siswa dan kemampuan mereka dalam melindungi diri, menumbuhkan empati, kesadaran hak, dan rasa tanggung jawab. Selain itu, strategi student-centered learning, yang meliputi studi kasus, role playing, dan diskusi, terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, motivasi belajar, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi komprehensif antara peran guru dan strategi pembelajaran inovatif, didukung oleh kolaborasi eksternal, berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, empati, kesadaran sosial, dan membentuk sikap positif siswa dalam menghadapi isu kekerasan gender.

Nurul Aulia Rahmah, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mulawarman University. The Role of PPKn Teachers in Raising Awareness in Cases of Gender Violence at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda. Under the guidance of Mrs. Dra. Hj. Marwiah., M.Pd as a supervisor.The purpose of this study is to determine the role of PPKn teachers as educators and as mentors in raising awareness in cases of gender violence at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda.The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda in December 2024-March 2025. The subjects of this study were PPKn teachers, and students in grades VII and VIII using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion.The study shows that the role of PPKn teachers significantly improves students' understanding of gender violence, including definitions and the ability to identify its various forms. Effective collaboration between teachers and external institutions (Samarinda District Attorney's Office, Police Goes to School, DP2PA, Bhabinkamtibmas) also increased students' social awareness and their ability to protect themselves, foster empathy, awareness of rights, and a sense of responsibility. In addition, student-centered learning strategies, which include case studies, role playing, and discussions, have been shown to increase students' active participation, learning motivation, and critical thinking skills. Overall, these findings confirm that a comprehensive combination of teacher roles and innovative learning strategies, supported by external collaboration, has succeeded in increasing students' conceptual understanding, empathy, social awareness, and forming positive attitudes in dealing with gender violence issues.
