STUDI KUALITATIF TANTANGAN LABORAN DALAM MENERAPKAN PROTOKOL K3 DI LABORATORIUM SMK KESEHATAN LETRIS INDONESIA 2

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh laboran dalam menerapkan protokol keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) di laboratorium farmasi SMK Kesehatan Letris Indonesia 2. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laboran memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik terhadap prosedur K3, ditunjukkan dengan penerapan standar operasional seperti penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), pelarangan makan dan minum di laboratorium, serta pemeriksaan berkala terhadap alat laboratorium. Namun, penerapan K3 dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa dan tingginya beban kerja laboran saat jumlah siswa praktik meningkat. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran aktif seluruh elemen sekolah dalam membentuk budaya keselamatan yang berkelanjutan, guna mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang aman dan produktif.

This research aims to identify the challenges faced by laboratory assistants in implementing occupational safety and health (K3) protocols in the pharmaceutical laboratory of Letris Indonesia 2 Health Vocational School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation. The research results show that laboratory assistants have a fairly good understanding of K3 procedures, demonstrated by the implementation of operational standards such as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), prohibition of eating and drinking in the laboratory, as well as regular inspection of laboratory equipment. However, the implementation of K3 is faced with various challenges, such as low student discipline and high laboratory workload when the number of practical students increases. This research emphasizes the importance of the active role of all school elements in forming a sustainable safety culture, in order to support the creation of a safe and productive learning environment.
