Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling (POAC) dalam pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler olahraga di MIS Al-Muhajirin Palu. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei deskriptif dengan 45 responden, meliputi guru pembina, kepala madrasah, guru pendukung, dan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert 1–5 dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata pelaksanaan POAC: Planning 4,05; Organizing 3,92; Actuating 3,87; dan Controlling 3,75, termasuk kategori Baik. Perencanaan dan pengorganisasian kegiatan relatif terstruktur, pelaksanaan program berjalan lancar dengan partisipasi aktif siswa, namun kualitas pembinaan dan pengawasan sarana prasarana masih perlu ditingkatkan Kesimpulannya, penerapan POAC di MIS Al-Muhajirin Palu berjalan efektif, meskipun masih ada peluang optimasi melalui peningkatan fasilitas, kapasitas pembina, dan strategi pengelompokan peserta. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan manajemen pendidikan berbasis POAC serta manfaat praktis untuk evaluasi dan peningkatan pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler olahraga di madrasah.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functionsPlanning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) in managing sports extracurricular activities at MIS Al-Muhajirin Palu. A descriptive survey method was used with 45 respondents, including instructors, the principal, supporting teachers, and students. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results show average POAC scores: Planning 4.05; Organizing 3.92; Actuating 3.87; and Controlling 3.75, categorized as Good. Planning and organizing were well-structured, program implementation ran smoothly with active student participation, yet coaching quality and facility supervision need improvement. In conclusion, the implementation of POAC at MIS Al-Muhajirin Palu is effective, with opportunities for optimization through better facilities, coach capacity, and participant grouping strategies. This study provides theoretical contributions to POAC-based educational management and practical benefits for evaluating and improving sports extracurricular programs in madrasahs.
