FORMULASI DAN UJI AKTIVITAS SEDIAAN SAMPO ANTIKETOMBE EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN JAWER KOTOK (COLEUS SCUTELLTIOIDES (L) BENTH) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN JAMUR CANDIDA ALBICANS

Abstrak

Tanaman jawer kotok merupakan salah satu tanaman yang telah banyak digunakan sebagai obat tradisional. selain itu banyak sekali zat yang terkandung didalam tanaman ini memiliki khasiat sebagai imundulator dan flavonoid. memiliki banyak kandungan yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan salah satunya sebagai antijamur pada jamur candida albicans penyebab antiketombe. Untuk mengoptimalkan kandungan tersebut, maka dibuat formulasi sediaan sampo antiketombe dengan bahan aktif ekstrak etanol daun jawer kotok (Coleus scutellariodes (L.) Benth) terhadap jamur candida albicans. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak terhadap mutu sediaan dan mengetahui formula yang memiliki aktivitas antiketombe terbaik. Menggunakan metode eksperimental yang pertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya aktivitas antijamur pada sediaan sampo ekstrak etanol daun jawer kotok (coleus scutelltiodes (L) benth.) terhadap jamur candida albicans dilihat dari daya hambat jamur dengan variasi konsentrasi yaitu 10%, 15%, dan 20% dengan menggunakan metode difusi. kontrol positif meggunakan sampo ketomed dan kontrol negatif menggunakan sampo FO. Analisis data formulasi sediaan yang memiliki diameter terbesar pada pengujian difusi adalah F3 dengan konsentrsi 20% dengan daya hambat rata-rata 17,7 mm dengan kategori kuat. Hasil One Way ANOVA terdistrbusi normal dibuktikan dengan nilai (P>0,05). Ekstrak daun jawer kotok (coleus scutelltiodes (L) benth) memiliki aktvitas antijamur terhadap jamur candida albicans.

Munjawer kotok plant is one of the plants that has been widely used as a traditional medicine besides that there are many substances contained in this plant that have properties as immunodulator and flavonoids. has many beneficial contents for health, one of which is as an anti-fungal on candida albicans fungus that causes dandruff. To optimize the content, an anti-dandruff shampoo preparation formula is made with the active ingredient of ethanol extract of jawer kotok leaves (Coleus scutellariodes (L.) Benth) against candida albicans fungus. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extract concentration on the quality of the preparation and to determine the formula that has the best anti-dandruff activity. Using an experimental method that aimsntal to determine the presence of antifungal activity in the preparation of ethanol extract of jawer kotok leaves (coleus scutelltiodes (L.) benth) shampoo against candida albicans fungus seen and the inhibition power of the mixture with concentrations of 10%, 15%, and 20% using the disc diffusion, positive control using ketomed shampoo and negative control using shampoo FO extract. Analysis of the formulation data of the preparation that has the largest diameter in the diffusion test is F3 with a concentration of 20% with an average inhibition power of 17.7 mm with a strong category. The results of the normally distributed One Way ANOVA are proven by the value (P> 0.05). Jawer kotok leaf extract (coleus scutelltiodes (L) benth) has antifungal activity against candida albicans fungus.
