MEMAHAMI FILSAFAT ANALITIK: SEJARAH, METODE, DAN KONTRIBUSINYA PADA FILSAFAT KONTEMPORER

Abstrak

Jurnal ini ingin membahas filsafat analitik sebagai aliran filsafat yang muncul pada awal abad ke-20 di Inggris dan Amerika. Filsafat analitik menggunakan metode analisis untuk mencari tahu problem-problem filsafat dengan secara jelas. Dari tujuan jurnal ini ialah mencoba memberikan pemahaman tentang “sejarah, metode, dan kontribusi filsafat analitik pada filsafat kontemporer”, dalam bidang filsafat bahasa, filsafat ilmu, logika, dan kritik terhadap filsafat pada masa sebelum lahirnya filsafat analitik. Pertama, jurnal ini mencoba membahas apa saja kontribusi yang ada dalam filsafat analitik dalam memahami struktur bahasa, makna, dan pemahaman. Kedua, jurnal mencoba menyoroti peran filsafat analitik dan selanjutnya, jurnal ini membahas kontribusi Filsafat Analitik dalam bidang logika. Filsuf analitik terkenal seperti Bertrand Russell dan Ludwig Wittgenstein telah mengembangkan konsep-konsep penting dalam logika, seperti atomisme logic dan positivisme logic. Mereka menekankan pentingnya menggunakan logika formal untuk memahami dan menganalisis pemikiran dan argumen filosofis pada masa itu. Kendati demikian, filsafat analitik telah memberikan sumbangsih yang signifikan dalam perkembangan filsafat bahasa, yang mempelajari penggunaan bahasa dalam konteks filosofis. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada filsafat kontemporer dengan memberikan pemahaman tentang filsafat analitik.

This journal aims to discuss analytic philosophy as a philosophical movement that emerged in the early 20th century in England and America. Analytic philosophy uses the method of analysis to clearly identify philosophical problems. The aim of this journal is to provide an understanding of the "history, methods, and contributions of analytic philosophy to contemporary philosophy" in the fields of philosophy of language, philosophy of science, logic, and critique of philosophy before the emergence of analytic philosophy. First, this journal attempts to discuss the contributions of analytic philosophy in understanding the structure of language, meaning, and comprehension. Second, the journal aims to highlight the role of analytic philosophy and subsequently, it discusses the contributions of Analytic Philosophy in the field of logic. Famous analytic philosophers such as Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein have developed important concepts in logic, such as logical atomism and logical positivism. They emphasized the importance of using formal logic to understand and analyze philosophical thought and arguments of that time. Nevertheless, analytic philosophy has made significant contributions to the development of the philosophy of language, which studies the use of language in philosophical contexts. This journal is expected to contribute to contemporary philosophy by providing an understanding of analytic philosophy.
