UNSUR-UNSUR KEBUDAYAAN DALAM NOVEL AZZAMINE KARYA SOPHIE AULIA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas unsur budaya, kearifan lokal, dan dampak pelanggaran nilai-nilai lokalitas dalam novel “AZZAMINE” karya Sophie Aulia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra untuk memberikan gambaran terhadap tema-tema yang menjadi fokus penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat beberapa unsur budaya dalam novel ini, yaitu (1) sistem bahasa berupa kosakata lokal berbahasa Arab; (2) sistem pengetahuan; (3) sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi yang tergambar melalui penggunaan mobil, motor, telepon, dan laptop; (4) sistem mata pencaharian yang terlihat dari profesi seorang dosen dan guru; dan (5) sistem religi yang terwujud melalui adzan dan keberadaan masjid.

This research examines the cultural elements, local wisdom, and the impacts of violating local values in Sophie Aulia’s novel “AZZAMINE”. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literary anthropology approach to provide an overview of the themes discussed in the research object. The analysis reveals several cultural elements within the novel, including (1) a language system reflected in the use of local Arabic or Arabic vocabulary; (2) a knowledge system; (3) a livelihood system illustrated by the profession of a lecturer; (4) a technology and tools system, such as cars, motorcycles, telephones, and laptop; and (5) a religious system represented by the call to prayer and mosques.
