FORMULASI DAN UJI ANTIBAKTERI SEDIAAN FACE MIST EKSTRAK ETANOL96% DAUN JERUK PURUT (Citrus Hystrix) TERHADAP BAKTERI

Daun jeruk purut merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak ditanam oleh masyarakat indonesia di sekitar rumah. Daun jeruk purut memiliki kandungan senyawa kimia seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan steroid yang berfungsi sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuanĀ untuk menguji daun jeruk purut mempunyai aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus, untuk mengindentifikasi konsentrasi sediaan face mist ekstrak daun jeruk purut yang tertinggi, dan mengetahui hasil evaluasi fisik sediaan face mist ekstrak daun jeruk purut. Pembuatan ekstrak etanol daun jeruk purut dilakukan secara maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. skrining fitokimia dilakukan terhadap ekstrak daun jeruk purut. uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol daun jeruk purut terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram. Sediaan face mist diformulasikan mengandung ekstrak etanol daun jeruk purut 10%, 12,5%, dan 15%. Dilakukan evaluasi fisik dengan hasil memenuhi syarat uji fisik antara lain uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar semprot, iritasi. Hasil aktivitas antibakteri sediaan face mist ekstrak daun jeruk purut pada formulasi I dengan konsentrasi 10% sebesar 13,0 mm, formulasi II dengan konsentrasi 12,5% sebesar 16,6 mm, dan formulasi III dengan konsentrasi 15% sebesar 18,6 mm. Analisis terhadap data hasil yang menggunakan bantuan SPSS antara lain uji pH, uji daya sebar semprot, dan uji daya hambat bakteri Staphylococcus aureus mendapatkan hasil One-Way ANOVA yang signifikan (p> 0,05).
Kaffir lime leaves are one of the plants that are widely cultivated by Indonesian people around their homes. Kaffir lime leaves contain chemical compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids as antibacterials. The purpose of this study was to determine whether kaffir lime leaves have antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, to determine the highest concentration of kaffir lime leaf extract face mist preparation, and to determine the results of physical evaluation of kaffir lime leaf extract face mist preparation.The preparation of ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves was carried out by maceration with 96% ethanol solvent. Phytochemical screening was carried out on the kaffir lime leaf extract. Antibacterial activity test of ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves against Staphylococcus aureus was carried out using the disc diffusion method. Face mist preparations were formulated containing ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves of 10%, 12.5%, and 15%. Physical evaluation was carried out with the results meeting the physical test requirements including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, spray spread, irritation.The results of the antibacterial activity of the face mist preparation of kaffir lime leaf extract in formulation I with a concentration of 10% were 13.0 mm, formulation II with a concentration of 12.5% was 16.6 mm, and formulation III with a concentration of 15% was 18.6 mm. Analysis of the results data using SPSS assistance including pH test, spray spread test, and Staphylococcus aureus bacterial inhibition test obtained significant One-Way ANOVA results (p> 0.05).
