PERAN GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DALAM MENCEGAH BULLYING DI SMA NEGERI 1 LUWUK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perilaku bullying yang terjadi di SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. Tujuan penelitian yaitu 1) Mendeskripsikan perilaku bullying. 2) Mendeskripsikan peranan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam mencegah bullying siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Perilaku bullying secara fisik: siswa memukul temannya, mendorong temannya, mengganggu temannya yang sedang belajar, sedangkan perilaku bullying non fisik yaitu menghina dan mengejek temannya, memanggil nama temannya dengan nama orang tuanya atau sebutan lain. 2) Peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam mencegah perilaku bullying dilakukan dengan cara memberikan layanan informasi, konseling individu dan bimbingan kelompok, tindakan preventif, kuratif dan preservatif.Kesimpulan penelitian Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam mencegahbullyingdengan memberikan penanaman nilai moral kebaikan bagi siswanya dan melaksanakan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dengan menjelaskan apa itu bullying, bagaimana perilaku bullying, dan sebab akibat yang di timbulkan oleh perilaku bullying. Saran 1) Hendaknya siswa lebih memahami dampak perilaku bullying agar sadar bahwa bullying itu perilaku yang tidak baik sehingga tidak ada lagi korban bullying di lingkungan sekolah. 2) Hendaknya Guru Bimbingan Konseling memberikan layananyang lebih bervariasi sesuai dengan permasalahan siswa khususnya menyelesaikan perilaku bullying di kalangan siswa agar tidak mengganggu proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah. 3) Hendaknya sekolah meningkatkan pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling tentang perilaku bullying, agar siswa memiliki pemahaman tentang dampak dari bullying.
This research was motivated by bullying behavior that occurred at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. The purpose of the study is 1) Describe bullying behavior. 2) Describe the role of guidance and counseling teachers in preventing student bullying. The type of research that qualitative research uses descriptive approaches. The results showed that 1) Physical bullying behavior: the student hits his friend, pushes his friend, disturbs his friend who is studying, while non-physical bullying behavior is insulting and mocking his friend, calling his friend's name by his parents' name or other designations. 2) The role of guidance and counseling teachers in preventing bullying behavior is carried out by providing information services, individual counseling and group guidance, preventive, curative and preservative measures. The conclusion of the Guidance and Counseling Teacher's research in preventing bullying by instilling moral values of kindness for its students and carrying out Guidance and Counseling services by explaining what bullying is, how bullying behavior, and the causation caused by bullying behavior. Tip 1) Students should better understand the impact of bullying behavior to be aware that bullying is bad behavior so that there are no more victims of bullying in the school environment. 2) Counseling Guidance Teachers should provide services that are more varied according to student problems, especially solving bullying behavior among students so as not to interfere with the teaching and learning process in schools. 3) Schools should improve the provision of counseling guidance services about bullying behavior, so that students have an understanding of the impact of bullying.
