ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS TEUN A, VAN DIJK PADA NOVEL LAUT BERCERITA KARYA LEILA S. CHUDORI

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. van Dijk pada novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Fokus penelitian ini adalah struktur teks yang meliputi struktur makro, superstruktur, dan struktur mikro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori yang diterbitkan tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik baca, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan teori analisis wacana kritis Teun A. van Dijk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur makro dalam novel memuat tema perlawanan terhadap kekuasaan yang direpresentasikan melalui kekerasan, penghilangan paksa, dan penderitaan keluarga korban. Superstruktur dalam novel disusun secara sistematis melalui pengenalan, perkembangan konflik, klimaks, dan penyelesaian. Sementara itu, struktur mikro terlihat melalui aspek semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, dan retoris yang memperkuat makna dan pesan ideologis dalam teks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel Laut Bercerita merepresentasikan kritik sosial dan nilai kemanusiaan melalui susunan wacana yang terstruktur.

This study aims to describe the critical discourse analysis model of Teun A. van Dijk in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. The focus of this research is the text structure consisting of macro structure, superstructure, and micro structure. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori published in 2017. Data collection techniques were carried out through reading, note-taking, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques were conducted by identifying, classifying, analyzing, and drawing conclusions based on Teun A. van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis theory. The results showed that the macro structure in the novel contains the theme of resistance against power represented through violence, enforced disappearances, and the suffering of victims’ families. The superstructure in the novel is systematically arranged through introduction, conflict development, climax, and resolution. Meanwhile, the micro structure is reflected through semantic, syntactic, stylistic, and rhetorical aspects that strengthen the meaning and ideological message in the text. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the novel Laut Bercerita represents social criticism and humanitarian values through structured discourse.
