Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan media YouTube terhadap keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi siswa kelas X MA Arrasyid Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 21 siswa dan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta tes menulis teks negosiasi berupa pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi pada kelas kontrol sebesar 68,80, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 79,28. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa t_hitung > t_tabel yaitu 31,75 > 1,68 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berbantuan media YouTube berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi siswa kelas X MA Arrasyid Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model assisted by YouTube media on the negotiation text writing skills of tenth-grade students at MA Arrasyid in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method. The population consisted of 21 students, and all members of the population were used as the research sample. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and negotiation text writing tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the t-test. The results showed that the average score of students’ negotiation text writing skills in the control class was 68.80, while the experimental class obtained an average score of 79.28. The hypothesis testing revealed that t_hitung > t_tabel   namely 31.75 > 1.68 at the 5% significance level, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model assisted by YouTube media had a significant effect on students’ negotiation text writing skills at MA Arrasyid in the 2025/2026 academic year.
