EDUKASI ANTI- INTOLERANSI UNTUK MENCIPTAKAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH YANG HARMONIS BAGI SISWA DI SMK NEGERI 1 BOYOLALI

Abstrak

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengurangi sikap intoleransi bagi siswa SMK Negeri 1 Boyolali. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 70 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas 10 dan kelas 11 di SMK Negeri 1 Boyolali. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi dengan tahapan yakni pretest kegiatan, penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan post-test kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan setelah narasumber menyampaikan materi, terdapat peningkatan jumlah siswa yang sudah memahami konsep toleransi dan intoleransi yang sebelumnya 49 siswa menjadi 59 siswa. Sedangkan 11 siswa yang belum memahami konsep toleransi dan intoleransi masih memerlukan bimbingan untuk meningkatkan sikap anti-intoleransi. Kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa edukasi anti-intoleransi perlu dilakukan terus-menerus agar membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter toleran.

The purpose of this community service is to reduce intolerant attitudes among students of SMK Negeri 1 Boyolali. This activity was attended by 70 students in grades 10 and 11 at SMK Negeri 1 Boyolali. The community service method was carried out through socialization with stages, namely pre-test activities, delivery of materials, discussions, and post-test activities. The results showed that after the resource person delivered the material, there was an increase in the number of students who understood the concept of tolerance and intolerance from 49 students to 59 students. Meanwhile, 11 students who did not understand the concept of tolerance and intolerance still needed guidance to improve their anti-intolerance attitudes. This activity shows that anti-intolerance education needs to be carried out continuously in order to form a young generation with a tolerant character.
