PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROUND TABLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI SISWA KELAS IV MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH NURUL ITTIHAD KOTA JAMBI

Abstrak

Rendahnya keterampilan kolaborasi siswa menjadi permasalahan utama, ditambah dengan penggunaan metode konvensional yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran seperti metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab masih dominan belum cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkolaborsi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas IV melalui penerapan model pembelajaran tipe Round Table. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancana, observasi, dan juga dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada aktivitas siswa dan guru serta keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Aktivitas siswa dan guru memperoleh hasil pada pra siklus sebesar 76,65% dan meningkat pada siklus II yakni sebesar 94,95%. Kemudian keterampilan kolaborasi siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe Round Table juga meningkat dari perolehan awal pada pra siklus sebesar 47,63%, Siklus I pertemuan I sebesar 51,84%, siklus I pertemuan II sebesar 53,42%, dan pada siklus II pertemuan I dengan persentase 77,36% serta pada siklus II pertemuan II meningkat signifikan dengan persentase sebesar 86,57%. Hasil tindakan pada siklus II telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan sehingga tindakan dihentikan pada siklus tersebut. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran tipe Round Table dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas IV di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Ittihad Kota Jambi.

The low skill of students' collaboration is the main problem, coupled with the use of conventional methods used by teachers in learning such as lectures, discussions, and questions and answers are still dominant and not effective enough in improving students' collaboration skills. This research aims to improve the collaboration skills of class IV students through the application of the Round Table type learning model. This research is a class action research consisting of two cycles with each cycle consisting of four stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection technique in this study uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student and teacher activities as well as student collaboration skills. Student and teacher activity obtained results in the pre-cycle of 76,65% and increased in cycle II, namely 94,95%. Then the student collaboration skills using the Round Table type learning model also increased from the initial acquisition in the pre-cycle by 47.63%, Cycle I meeting I by 51.84%, cycle I meeting II by 53,42%, and in cycle II meeting I with a percentage of 77,36% and in cycle II meeting II increased significantly with a percentage of 86.57%. The result of the action in cycle II has reached the success criteria so that the action is stopped in that cycle. Thus, the implementation of the Round Table type learning model can improve the collaboration skills of class IV students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Ittihad Jambi City.
