PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SEJAK DINI DALAM MENINGKATKAN RASA KEPEDULIAN TERHADAP LINGKUNGAN DAN SESAMA DI DESA SEI MENCIRIM

Abstrak

Character education has an important role in shaping individuals who are responsible, noble, and care about the environment and others. This research was conducted in Sei Mencirim Village, Deli Serdang Regency, with the aim of strengthening character education from an early age through programs such as additional tutoring, gotong royong, and anti-bullying socialization. The implementation method of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) involves active cooperation between the PKM team and the local community, focusing on identifying problems and developing action plans to improve community welfare. The results of PKM activities include literacy and numeracy tutoring, gotong royong activities, and anti-bullying socialization, which are able to improve children's skills and knowledge as well as form strong character and integrity. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of designing sustainable programs, developing innovative learning methods, collaborating with relevant institutions, and increasing socialization about bullying as well as the role of parents in preventing it to create a safe and supportive environment for children. With the implementation of these suggestions, it is expected that PKM activities can have a significant and sustainable impact in advancing education and community welfare.
