Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh suhu terhadap performa laptop mahasiswa saat digunakan dalam durasi panjang. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 30 responden, 93,33% mengalami overheating saat multitasking, dan 100% melaporkan dampak langsung seperti kinerja melambat, hang, hingga mati mendadak. Strategi umum untuk mengatasinya mencakup penggunaan cooling pad (90%) dan pembersihan ventilasi (80%). Praktik pengujian menunjukkan bahwa laptop dengan pendinginan optimal hanya mengalami penurunan performa sebesar 9%, sedangkan yang kurang efisien menurun hingga 35%. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya manajemen suhu untuk menjaga kinerja dan produktivitas perangkat.
This study analyzes the impact of temperature on laptop performance during prolonged use among university students. Based on a survey of 30 respondents, 93.33% reported overheating during multitasking, and 100% experienced performance issues such as system lag, freezing, and sudden shutdowns. Common solutions include using cooling pads (90%) and cleaning ventilation (80%). Practical tests revealed that laptops with efficient cooling systems showed only a 9% performance drop, while others decreased by up to 35%. These findings highlight the importance of thermal management in maintaining laptop performance and user productivity.
