DESKRIPSI KESULITAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PEMBAGIAN MELALUI PBL DI KELAS V SD

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh observasi lapangan yang mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pembagian. Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep pembagian, sehingga diperlukan proses pembelajaran yang bermakna berbasis model pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa melalui model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup gambaran kesulitan siswa dan implementasi Problem-Based Learning dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran menggunakan PBL berhasil mengatasi kesulitan sebagian besar siswa, tetapi masih terdapat sebagian siswa yang lain belum teratasi seperti kemudahan saat menyelesaikan soal pembagian. Problem- Based Learning dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dengan beberapa strategi dan penyesuaian sesuai kebutuhan siswa.
This research is motivated by field observations that identify students' difficulties in solving division problems. Students have difficulty in understanding the concept of division, so a meaningful learning process based on learning models related to students' daily lives is needed. This research aims to describe students' difficulties through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, and interviews. The results of this study include a description of student difficulties and the implementation of Problem-Based Learning in learning. Learning using PBL succeeded in overcoming the difficulties of most students, but there were still some other students who had not been overcome, such as the ease when solving division problems. Problem-Based Learning can be an alternative learning model that can be used with several strategies and adjustments according to student needs.
