Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level, as reflected in PISA Indonesia data and field observations. The main problems identified are the lack of variety in learning media and the conventional teaching method (lecturing), resulting in student boredom and inactivity. This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at the UPTD of SD Negeri 122384 Pematangsiantar. The research method used is quantitative research with data collection through a test instrument. Initial observations indicate that the average student IPAS score is still at 71.96. The use of animated video media is expected to increase student absorption and interest in learning through concrete visualization of the material.
