RUANG LINGKUP HUKUM ADAT MELAYU JAMBI

Abstrak

Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menjadi salah satu cara yang peneliti lakukan untuk memahami secara mendetail terkait hukum adat Melayu Jambi. Melalui hasil penelitian, peneliti mendapatkan bahwasanya hukum adat Melayu Jambi menjadi salah satu hukum tradisional yang telah mendarah daging bagi kehidupan masyarakat adat terutama Melayu Jambi. Sumber hukum adat Melayu Jambi bersumber dari ajaran-ajaran adat secara turun menurun dan dipengaruhi oleh kepercayaan yang masuk ke nusantara seperti animisme, dinamisme, Hindu-Buddha, Islam, dan Kolonialisme. Seluruh aspek tersebut yang mempengaruhi hukum adat Melayu Jambi hingga saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan mencari sumber-sumber yang sesuai dengan penelitian melalaui buku, jurnal, dan media online. Melalui penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwasanya hukum adat Melayu Jambi menjadi salah satu pandangan hidup dari masyarakat Melayu Jambi.

Research conducted by researchers is one of the ways researchers use to understand in detail the Jambi Malay customary law. Through the results of the research, researchers found that Jambi Malay customary law is one of the traditional laws that has become ingrained in the lives of indigenous people, especially Jambi Malays. The source of Jambi Malay customary law comes from traditional teachings that have been passed down from generation to generation and are influenced by beliefs that have entered the archipelago such as animism, dynamism, Hindu-Buddhism, Islam and colonialism. All of these aspects influence Jambi Malay customary law to this day. The research method used by researchers is literature study by looking for sources that are appropriate to the research through books, journals and online media. Through this research, it was also discovered that Jambi Malay customary law is one of the views of life of the Jambi Malay community.
