Abstrak

The stunting rate in Indonesia is still quite high, namely 21.6% based on the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI, 2022). Based on data obtained from the Menggala Health Center in 2024, the number of toddlers experiencing stunting in the Central Menggala area was 23 toddlers with a stunting percentage of (5.0%). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of nutritional education on increasing mothers' knowledge about providing complementary foods for breast milk. Pre-Experimental Design research design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest approach with 52 samples. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling and data analysis uses the Wilcoxon Test. The results of this study show a p-value = 0.000 <0.05, which means there is an influence between nutritional education and the mother's level of knowledge. In conclusion, there is an influence of nutritional education on the mother's level of knowledge about providing complementary breast milk to babies aged 6-24 months. Suggestions for future researchers are to add at least 2 variables to the research and try research with different variables to find out other influences that can be obtained from the results of the next research.
