PENGARUH WESTERNISASI TERHADAP BUDAYA LOKAL INDONESIA

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengaruh westernisasi terhadap budaya lokal indonesia. Secara harfiah westernisasi adalah pembaratan. KBBI mendefinisikan westernisasi sebagai pemujaan terhadap barat yang berlebihan. Secara umum, westernisasi adalah proses masuknya budaya barat dan diadopsi  oleh masyarakat tanpa disaring terlebih dahulu. Westernisasi telah menyebabkan model dunia global dari perspektif barat. Konsep westernisasi menggambarkan pengaruh formatif kekuatan barat terhadap kondisi politik, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya di Asia, Afrika, dan Amerika Latin. Proses westernisasi terjadi ketika masyarakat nonBarat berada di bawah pengaruh barat atau mengadopsi budaya barat di berbagai bidang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang yang merupakan seorang mahsiswa aktif.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the influence of westernization on local Indonesian culture. Literally, Westernization is westernization. KBBI defines Westernization as excessive worship of the west. In general, Westernization is the process of entering Western culture and being adopted by society without being filtered first. Westernization has led to a global world model from a Western perspective. The concept of westernization describes the formative influence of Western powers on political, economic, social, and cultural conditions in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The Westernization process occurs when non-Western societies come under Western influence or adopt Western culture in various fields. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. Data was collected using questionnaire techniques. The respondents in this study were 50 people who were active students.
