PELAKSANAAN KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA (K3) BAGI PEKERJA BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG N0 1 TAHUN 1970 TENTANG KESALAMATAN KERJA DI PT.INDAH KIAT PULP & PAPER TBK SERANG MILLS

Abstrak

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja merupakan hal yang penting dan harus diperhatikan oleh pihak perusahaan. Hal ini karena dampak kecelakaan dan penyakit kerja tidak hanya merugikan tenaga kerja, melainkan juga perusahaan itu sendiri dan berpotensi mempengaruhi produktivitas perusahaan. Penggunaan teknologi dan berbagai macam bahan baku kimia memiliki tingkat risiko yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja. Adapun dalam penelitian ini mempunyai dua masalah pokok yang akan dibahas yaitu, Pelaksanaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) bagi pekerja di PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang dan yang kedua Kendala dalam pelaksanaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) bagi pekerja di PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang. Dan adapun tujuan dari Penelitian ini ialah sama dengan rumusan masalah pokok yaitu untuk mengetahui hasil dari rumusan masalah yang dibuat oleh peneliti. Penelitian hukum ini termasuk jenis penelitian Observasi (observational research). Metode penelitian jenis ini dimaksudkan untuk memecahkan masalah yang ada pada waktu sekarang ini dengan jalan mengumpulkan data dan menyusun atau mengklarifikasikannya seterusnya menganalisa dan melihat suatu kenyataan hukum di dalam dunia pekerjaan kemudian diperoleh suatu hasil. Adapun hasil Penelitian yang penulis peroleh adalah bahwa Pelaksanaan perlindungan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja bagi pekerja di PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang angka kecelakaan kerja dari tahun 2019 sampai tahun 2023 mengalami penurunan, namun masih ada beberapa karyawan yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, faktor yang paling utama adalah adanya unsur kelalaian dari pekerja itu sendiri karena tidak mengindahkan instruksi dari pihak perusahaan. Hambatan dari PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang Mills dalam melaksakan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja bagi pekerja adalah tidak adanya kesadaran dari pekerja akan bahaya pekerjaan yang dilakukan tanpa alat keselamatan kerja, tidak setujunya pekerja dengan adanya penerapan aturan hubungan kerja yang telah ditetapkan dan pekerja tidak mematuhi aturan tentang keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja sehingga dapat menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja yang disebabkan oleh kelalaian karyawan dalam bekerja.

And the purpose of this research is the same as the formulation of the main problem, namely to find out the results of the formulation of the problem made by the researcher. This legal research is a type of observational research. This type of research method is intended to solve the problems that exist today by collecting data and compiling or clarifying it, then analyzing and seeing a legal reality in the world of work and then obtaining a result. The results of the research obtained by the author are that the implementation of occupational health and safety protection for workers at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang The number of work accidents from 2019 to 2023 has decreased, but there are still some employees who experience work accidents caused by several factors, the most important factor is the element of negligence from the workers themselves because they do not heed instructions from the company. Obstacles from PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang Mills in implementing occupational health and safety for workers is the absence of awareness from workers of the dangers of work carried out without occupational safety equipment, the workers' disagreement with the application of the rules of employment relations that have been set and workers do not comply with the rules on occupational safety and health so that it can cause work accidents caused by employee negligence at work.
