HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DENGAN KEBERHASILAN MENYUSUI PADA IBU 40 HARI PERTAMA POST PARTUM DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MAYANG

Abstrak

Menyusui pada 40 hari pertama post partum merupakan proses yang tidak mudah, karena ibu akan menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, salah satunya self efficacy. Self efficacy yang tinggi pada ibu akan mempengaruhi proses menyusuinya.Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan keberhasilan menyusui pada ibu 40 hari pertama post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mayang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi dengan pendekatan crosssectional dengan jumlah sampel 49 ibu 40 hari pertama post partum yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah spearman rho dengan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini sebanyak 41 orang (83,7%) memliliki self efficacy dalam kategori tinggi dan sebanyak 39 orang (79,6%) berada dalam kategori berhasil menyusui 40 hari pertama post partum. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan hasil p value (0,001) sehingga H1 diterima, yang berarti terdapat hubungan self efficacy dengan keberhasilan menyusui pada ibu 40 hari pertama post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mayang dengan angka koofisien korelasi sebesar r = (0,454) yang berarti termasuk hubungan moderat, dengan hubungan kedua variabel bersifat positif. Diharapkan dengan self efficacy yang tinggi akan meningkatkan keberhasilan dalam menyusui 40 hari pertama post partum.

Breastfeeding in the first 40 days post partum is a process that is not easy, because mothers will face various problems, one of which is self efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self efficacy and breastfeeding success in mothers in the first 40 days post partum in the Mayang Health Centre Working Area. This research design uses correlation with a crosssectional approach with a total sample of 49 mothers 40 days first post partum taken using cluster random sampling technique. The analysis used in this study was spearman rho with α = 0.05. The results of this study were 41 people (83.7%) had self efficacy in the high category and 39 people (79.6%) were in the category of successful breastfeeding the first 40 days post partum. The statistical test results obtained p value (0.001) so that H1 is accepted, which means there is a relationship between self efficacy with breastfeeding success in mothers 40 days first post partum in the Mayang Health Centre Working Area with a correlation coefficient of r = (0.454) which means including a moderate relationship, with the relationship between the two variables is positive. It is expected that high self efficacy will increase success in breastfeeding the first 40 days post partum.
