PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk – Food Division menghadapi tantangan dalam proses penginputan order barang di Divisi Engineering yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual, menyebabkan inefisiensi dan potensi kesalahan data. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, perusahaan mengimplementasikan aplikasi SAP (System Application and Processing) guna mengotomatisasi dan mengintegrasikan proses pengadaan barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi SAP terhadap efisiensi operasional, akurasi data, dan integrasi antar departemen. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi studi kasus dan analisis kualitatif terhadap proses bisnis sebelum dan sesudah penerapan SAP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SAP berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi proses penginputan order, mengurangi kesalahan data, dan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan. Integrasi sistem juga memungkinkan koordinasi yang lebih baik antara Divisi Engineering dan departemen terkait lainnya. Dengan demikian, penggunaan SAP memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja operasional perusahaan.
PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk – Food Division faced challenges in the manual process of goods order entry within the Engineering Division, leading to inefficiencies and potential data inaccuracies. To address these issues, the company implemented the SAP (System Application and Processing) application to automate and integrate the procurement process. This study aims to analyze the impact of SAP implementation on operational efficiency, data accuracy, and interdepartmental integration. The methodology includes case studies and qualitative analysis of business processes before and after SAP adoption. The results indicate that SAP implementation successfully enhanced the efficiency of order entry processes, reduced data errors, and accelerated decision-making. System integration also facilitated better coordination between the Engineering Division and other related departments. Therefore, the use of SAP contributes positively to improving the company's operational performance.
