Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan self-assessment sebagai upaya pengembangan kinerja perawat di Puskesmas Meutulang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai pengalaman perawat dalam melakukan evaluasi diri pada praktik kerja sehari-hari. Informan penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu seorang perawat yang aktif memberikan pelayanan keperawatan di Puskesmas Meutulang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-assessment dipahami sebagai proses evaluasi diri terhadap kemampuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan kualitas pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Penerapan self-assessment dilakukan melalui refleksi terhadap tindakan keperawatan, penggunaan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) sebagai acuan evaluasi, serta diskusi dengan rekan kerja. Self-assessment memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kinerja perawat, terutama dalam meningkatkan kesadaran profesional, motivasi kerja, ketelitian, kualitas dokumentasi, serta mutu pelayanan kepada pasien. Faktor pendukung penerapan self-assessment meliputi keberadaan SOP, dukungan pimpinan, dan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Sementara itu, hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi subjektivitas dalam penilaian diri, perbedaan persepsi individu, pengaruh kondisi emosional, serta belum tersedianya forum evaluasi yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa self-assessment merupakan sarana refleksi profesional yang berperan penting dalam mendukung pengembangan kinerja perawat dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di tingkat pelayanan primer.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of self-assessment as an effort to improve nurses' performance at Meutulang Public Health Center. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of nurses’ experiences in conducting self-evaluation within their daily professional practice. The research participant was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of a nurse actively involved in healthcare services at Meutulang Public Health Center. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that self-assessment is understood as a process of evaluating one’s abilities, skills, attitudes, and work quality. The implementation of self-assessment is carried out through reflection on nursing practices, the use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as evaluation guidelines, and discussions with colleagues. Self-assessment contributes positively to nurses’ performance development by enhancing professional awareness, work motivation, accuracy, documentation quality, and patient care services. Supporting factors include the availability of SOPs, leadership support, and a conducive work environment. Meanwhile, the main obstacles include subjectivity in self-evaluation, differences in individual perceptions, emotional influences, and the absence of structured evaluation forums. This study concludes that self-assessment serves as an important professional reflective tool in supporting nurses’ performance development and improving the quality of healthcare services at the primary healthcare level.
