Abstrak

This research was conducted due to the noticeable body posture of students when hitting the ball, as their bodies appeared stiff, and their positions were often low, resulting in the ball frequently getting stuck in the net when served. The students' foot movements were not sufficiently quick, causing them to struggle to control the ball effectively when the opponent returned it. Additionally, there was a lack of precision in the students' ball-hitting target direction, leading to the ball frequently going out of the table, resulting in wasted points. This was attributed to the infrequency of students engaging in multi-ball exercises, causing the accuracy of their hitting targets to be suboptimal. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of the multi-ball training method on the accuracy of forehand drive shots for students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, where all subjects in the population were taken as samples. The sample in this study consisted of all extracurricular students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam, totaling 10 individuals. This research utilized an experimental method, and data analysis was performed by conducting a significance test "t-test" to determine the level of significance of the influence of the multi-ball training variable on forehand drive shots, using the t-test according to Arikunto (2006: 86). The pre-test and post-test results for the accuracy of forehand drive shots for extracurricular students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam yielded a calculated t-value (to) of 5.43, with a critical t-value (tt) of 2.26. Therefore, it can be concluded that to > tt or 5.43 > 2.26, indicating that there is an influence of the multi-ball training method on the accuracy of forehand drive shots for extracurricular students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam
