Abstrak

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran dan implementasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membina akhlak peserta didik di MTs 2 Muhammadiyah Paciran. Pembinaan akhlak sangat penting di era modern ini. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru PAI, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI          dilaksanakan secara integratif, mencakup materi kelas, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pembiasaan, dan teladan. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, penugasan ibadah, serta penanaman nilai moral konsisten. Pembelajaran PAI terbukti berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk karakter dan akhlak positif peserta didik, seperti kedisiplinan, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti pengaruh lingkungan luar dan konsistensi semua pihak tetap ada. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam upaya

pembinaan akhlak berkelanjutan.

This study analyzes the role and implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in fostering students' moral character at MTs 2 Muhammadiyah Paciran. Moral character development is crucial in this modern era. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects included PAI teachers, the principal, and students. Results indicate that PAI learning is carried out integratively, encompassing classroom material, extracurricular activities, habituation, and role modeling. Strategies applied include lectures, discussions, practical worship assignments, and consistent moral value inculcation. PAI learning significantly contributes to shaping students' positive character and morals, such as discipline, honesty, and responsibility. Nevertheless, challenges like external environmental influences and the consistency of all parties remain. This study recommends increasing collaboration among the school, parents, and community in continuous efforts to foster students' moral character.
