This study– examines the effects of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on financial distress among food and beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021 2025. The sample consisted of 39 companies, resulting in 195 observation data points determined using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, the coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that profitability has no significant effect on financial distress with t-count = 1.524 less than t-table = 1.655, therefore, H0 and H1 is rejected. The liquidity has no significant effect on financial distress, where the t-count = -0.587 less than t-table = 1.655, leading to the acceptance of H0 and rejection of H1. The leverage has a negative and statistically significant effect on financial distress with t-count = -4.308 greater than t-table = 1.655, thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Simultaneously, profitability, liquidity, and leverage had a positive and significant effect on financial distress, where the F-calculated value of 13.489 greater than F-table = 2.67, resulting in the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1.
