Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan, kendala dan solusi guru, serta implikasinya terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas II di SD Negeri 3 Kelusa, Kecamatan Payangan, Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan dilaksanakan secara terencana dan variatif sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik, sehingga mampu meningkatkan semangat, fokus, dan partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Kendala yang dihadapi guru antara lain keterbatasan waktu dan perbedaan karakter peserta didik, namun dapat diatasi melalui kreativitas guru serta kerja sama dengan pihak sekolah. Penggunaan Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan memberikan implikasi positif terhadap minat belajar peserta didik yang ditunjukkan melalui meningkatnya keaktifan, antusiasme, dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of hand-clapping Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan activities, the challenges and solutions faced by teachers, and their implications for students’ learning interest in Grade II at SD Negeri 3 Kelusa, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation study. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of hand-clapping Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan activities was carried out in a planned and varied manner according to students’ characteristics, which effectively increased students’ enthusiasm, focus, and participation in learning. The challenges faced by teachers included time constraints and differences in students’ characteristics; however, these obstacles were addressed through teachers’ creativity and collaboration with the school. The implementation of hand-clapping Ice breaking Tepuk Tangan activities had a positive implication for students’ learning interest, as reflected in increased activeness, enthusiasm, and overall learning outcomes.
