PERAN DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY DALAM PEMBUATAN KARYA FILM PENDEK BERJUDUL "SALAH KABAR BIKIN BUBAR"

Abstrak

Film merupakan sebuah kumpulan foto yang diprojeksikan dalam urutan yang sempurna. Film diyakini sebagai media yang sangat efektif dalam menyampaikan atau membangunkan sebuah emosi.Film pendek bukan sebuah potongan dari sebuah film panjang. Film pendek umumnya dibuat karena kurangnya media atau aksesibilitas yang biasa dimiliki di film panjang. Namun, film pendek memiliki kebebasan dalam bentuknya yang membuat film pendek sangat bervariasi Program Karya yang diambil berbentuk Film Pendek dengan teknik pengambilan gambar video. Film pendek ini berjudul "SALAH KABAR BIKIN BUBAR". Film ini menceritakan persahabatan mahasiswa yang sudah lama dekat namun berakhir karena kesalahpahaman yang masing-masing terima di sosial media. Film ini menggunakan pendekatan karakter untuk menceritakan sifat dari karakter tersebut agar penonton dapat mengerti bagaimana karakter tersebut menjalani kehidupannya. Dalam pembahasan hasil karya ini, pencipta sudah menciptakan film pendek. Pada proses pembuatan film pendek ini pencipta memiliki tanggung jawab atas persiapan perlengkapan pada tahap Pra Produksi, Produksi, dan Pasca Produksi. Semua kegiatan/adegan dan tokoh pada cerita film pendek ini merupakan cerita belaka atau tidak nyata yang ditulis oleh pengarang cerita. Berdasarkan hasil karya akhir film pendek yang telah dibuat, pencipta sebagai Director of Photography memastikan bahwa tugas dari seorang DoP dilakukan dengan tanggung jawab yang penuh selama proses syuting berlangsung. Harapan pencipta karya film pendek ini yaitu film pendek ini dapat diterima oleh masyarakat dan dapat menjadi hiburan dan pesan yang positif secara langsung maupun tidak langsung oleh masyarakat

Film is a collection of photographs projected in perfect sequence. Film is believed to be a very effective medium in conveying or developing an emotion. A short film is not a fragment of along film. Short films are generally made due to the lack of media or accessibility that feature films usually have. However, short films have freedom in their form which makes short films very varied.  The Work Program taken is in the form of Short Films with video shooting techniques. This short film is entitled "SALAH KABAR BIKIN BUBAR". This film tells of student friendships that have been close for a long time but ended because of misunderstandings that each received on social media. This film uses a character approach to tell the nature of these characters so that the audience can understand how these characters live their lives. In discussing the results of this work, the creator has created a short film. In the process of making this short film, the creator is responsible for preparing equipment at the Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production stages. All activities/scenes and characters in this short film are mere stories or not real stories written by the author of the story.  Based on the final work of the short film that has been made, the creator as the Director of  Photography ensures that the duties of a DoP are carried out with full responsibility during the  shooting process. The hope of the creators of this short film work is that this short film can be accepted by the public and can be entertainment and a positive message, directly or indirectly by the public.
