PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ABACUS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SD SWASTA GKPS 1 PEMATANGSIANTAR

Masih banyak ditemukan pendidik-pendidik khususnya di UPTD SD GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar yang mengajarkan materi yang diberikan dengan media konvensional. Akibatnya siswa merasa jenuh dan tidak bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaranPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan media pembelajaran abacus terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II di SD Swasta GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini berlokasi SD Swasta GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar dengan responden penelitian siswa kelas II berjumlah 17 siswa. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Data pada penelitian ini diuji pesyaratan analisis dengan uji normalitas dengan uji lilifors dan uji homogenitas dengan uji F. Kemudian hipotesis diuji dengan uji t. Setelah diketahui terdapat pengaruh maka dilanjutkan dengan uji koefisien determinasi untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media abacus berikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II pada tahap pretes diperoleh nilai sebesar 64.41 Rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II pada tahap postes diperoleh nilai sebesar 72,35.Dengan nilai nilai t hitng sebesar 2,27 lebih besar dari nilai t tabel yaitu 2,03, peneliti menyimpulkan terdapat pengaruh media abacus terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas II di SD Swasta GKPS 1 Pematangsintar.
There are still many educators, especially in UPTD SD GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar who teach the material given with conventional media. As a result, students feel bored and unenthusiastic in participating in learning activities. This study aims to determine the significant influence of abacus learning media on mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School. This study was located at GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School with 17 second-grade students as research respondents. This research is quantitative with experimental methods. The data in this study were tested for analysis requirements with a normality test with the Lilifors test and a homogeneity test with the F test. Then the hypothesis was tested with a t-test. After it was known that there was an influence, it was continued with a determination coefficient test to determine how much influence the abacus media gave to mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the research results, it is known that the average mathematics learning outcomes of class II students at the pretest stage obtained a value of 64.41. The average mathematics learning outcomes of class II students at the posttest stage obtained a value of 72.35. With a calculated t value of 2.27 which is greater than the t table value of 2.03, the researcher concluded that there was an influence of abacus media on mathematics learning outcomes in class II students at GKPS 1 Pematangsintar Private Elementary School
