Abstrak

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas sistem informasi berbasis website pada PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Cabang Medan, dengan fokus pada komponen teknis, organisasional, dan sosial di tengah transformasi digital sektor logistik Indonesia. Terletak di Medan sebagai pusat perdagangan utama Sumatera Utara, JNE menghadapi tantangan seperti fluktuasi permintaan musiman, masalah infrastruktur transportasi, dan risiko keamanan siber. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, dengan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap satu pegawai JNE (Kak Dewi), dilengkapi data sekunder dari dokumen perusahaan dan literatur akademik. Analisis mengintegrasikan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan analisis SWOT untuk menilai penerimaan teknologi dan faktor strategis.Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa sistem efektif mendukung operasional melalui pelacakan real-time dan portal pelanggan, dengan persepsi kegunaan tinggi (skor 4,3/5) namun kemudahan penggunaan sedang (3,7/5). Kekuatan meliputi respons cepat, sementara kelemahan mencakup kerentanan teknis saat puncak. 

This study analyzes the effectiveness of a website-based information system at PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Medan Branch, focusing on technical, organizational, and social components amid digital transformation in Indonesia's logistics sector. Located in Medan, a major trade hub in North Sumatra, JNE faces challenges such as seasonal demand fluctuations, transportation infrastructure issues, and cybersecurity risks. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with one JNE employee (Kak Dewi), supplemented by secondary data from company documents and academic literature. Analysis integrates the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and SWOT framework to evaluate system acceptance and strategic factors.Key findings reveal that the system effectively supports operations through real-time tracking and customer portals, with high perceived usefulness (score 4.3/5) but moderate ease of use (3.7/5). Strengths include rapid response capabilities, while weaknesses involve technical vulnerabilities during peak seasons. Opportunities lie in adopting AI and blockchain for optimization and security. The discussion links results to the introduction's context, highlighting local challenges and recommending technological investments for efficiency and competitiveness.This research contributes to logistics literature by emphasizing regional aspects, offering practical insights for JNE and promoting sustainable innovation in digital information systems. Limitations include the single-interview sample, suggesting future studies with broader data.
