Street vendors represent an informal sector that plays a role in boosting local economic activity, particularly in traditional market areas. While the presence of street vendors at Jeunieb Market makes it easier for the community to obtain daily necessities, it also creates issues regarding disorganized public space usage and the disruption of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. This study aims to analyze the distribution patterns of street vendors in the Jeunieb Market area. A descriptive qualitative research method was employed, utilizing techniques such as field observation, documentation, location mapping, and interviews. The analysis was conducted based on T.G. McGee’s theories regarding the characteristics and distribution of the informal sector. The results indicate that the distribution patterns of street vendors at Jeunieb Market are dominated by linear arrangements along main road corridors and clustering in areas with high visitor activity, such as market entrances and parking zones. Factors influencing these distribution patterns include accessibility, activity intensity, the type of merchandise, and space availability.
