Analisis Kerusakan Recoil Spring Pada Excavator Pc 200

Abstrak

Di industri pertambangan pada unit alat berat yang mana recoil spring merupakan bagian dari komponen undercarriage yang berfungsi untuk meredam kejutan yang berasal dari front idler, hal ini dapat memperpanjang umur komponen dan menambah kenyaman operator dalam mengoperasikan alat. Apabila recoil spring mengalami kerusakan, unit alat berat tidak dapat bekerja secara optimal. Rumusan masalah pada Tugas Akhir ini yaitu apakah penyebab kerusakan spring pada recoil spring excavator PC 200 dengan metode penelitian observasi dan studi pustaka. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui penyebab rusaknya spring pada recoil spring excavator PC 200. Penyebab terjadinya patah pada spring adalah tidak berfungsinya track adjuster memyebabkan spring berfunsi ganda, selain sebagai peredam kejut dari front idler juga berfungsi sebagai penyangga karena track adjuster tidak lagi berfungsi normal sebagaimana mestinya. Untuk mengatasi kerusakan yang terjadi pada recoil spring dilakukan pembongkaran pada recoil spring dan mengganti dengan yang baru pada komponen yang rusak yaitu seal dan spring.

In the mining industry where the recoil spring serves to dampen shocks from the front idler which is ancomponent undercarriage, so that this can extend the life of the components and increase operator comfort in operating the tool. So that if the heavy equipment unit is damaged it cannot work optimally. The problem in this final project is what is the cause of spring damage on the recoil spring excavator PC 200. The purpose of the study was to find out the cause of the damage to the spring on the recoil spring excavator  PC 200. The cause of the fracture in the spring was the malfunction of the track adjuster causing the spring to have a dual function, apart from being a shock absorber from the front idler it also served as a buffer because the track adjuster no longer functions normally as it should. .To overcome the damage that occurred in the recoil spring , dismantling the recoil spring and replacing it with a new one on the damaged component, namely the seal and spring.
